These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the services provided by Optical (“we,” “our,” or “us”), a U.S.-based provider of OSINT (Open-Source Intelligence) and digital privacy solutions. By accessing our platform, purchasing our services, or engaging with our content, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our services.

1. Services Provided

Optical offers digital-only services to individual clients seeking to assess, monitor, and reduce their digital footprint. These include:

  • Initial Footprint Analysis & Privacy Report

  • Data Broker Removal and Re-Removal Services

  • OSINT Scanning (Surface, Deep, and Dark Web)

  • Real-Time Breach Alerts

  • Threat Modeling and Risk Assessments

  • Custom OPSEC Playbooks

  • Emergency Takedown Support

  • Secure Communications Guidance

  • Ongoing Monitoring and Monthly Reporting

All deliverables are sent electronically through secure channels.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into contracts to use our services. By using Optical, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements.

3. Subscriptions and Payments

Optical offers both one-time service packages and ongoing subscription plans. By selecting a subscription plan, you agree to recurring billing until cancellation.

  • One-Time Reports: Non-refundable once delivery begins.

  • Subscriptions: Billed monthly or quarterly, depending on the plan. Cancel anytime through your client dashboard or by written request.

  • Setup Fees: Required for all new subscriptions and non-refundable once onboarding has begun.

We reserve the right to adjust pricing or features at any time, with reasonable advance notice.

4. User Data and Privacy

To provide our services, we collect personal information directly from you and through public sources. This may include:

  • Full name, date of birth

  • Contact details (email, phone, physical address)

  • Employment, social media, and other OSINT-relevant identifiers

  • Data breach exposure information

All data is handled with strict confidentiality. We do not sell, share, or monetize your information.

5. Client Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information

  • Not use our services for illegal, harassing, or malicious activity

  • Not impersonate another individual or misrepresent your identity

  • Use any reports or intelligence for lawful, personal protection purposes only

We reserve the right to refuse service, terminate subscriptions, or restrict access if these conditions are violated.

6. Deliverables and Limitations

Our services are informational in nature and do not constitute legal advice, law enforcement support, or guaranteed removal of online content. The effectiveness of data removals and takedown efforts depends on third-party cooperation and public data persistence.

Optical does not guarantee complete removal of information or immunity from future data breaches or exposures.

7. Emergency Support and Boundaries

Optical offers Emergency Takedown Support for high-risk clients as part of selected subscription plans. While we respond rapidly and use best practices, we are not a 24/7 emergency service and do not replace legal, cybersecurity, or law enforcement resources.

8. Intellectual Property

All content, reports, methodologies, and software used or provided by Optical are the exclusive property of Optical or its licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, or repurpose our materials without written consent.

9. Disclaimers

Optical services are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that your data will remain secure or that our services will meet all expectations.

Optical shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from use of our services.

10. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on our website with an updated effective date. Continued use of the services after changes indicates acceptance.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to our services at any time for violation of these Terms or misuse of the platform. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account dashboard.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Virginia, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
